How to register
Login
Step 1:
Login on the ESSO Portal.
The ESSO Portal is a completely new portal so the username and password you have used before might not be the same.
If you are a member of ESSO, or if you attended ESSO 41 or 42, you are already registered in the portal.
Click on: ‘Don’t remember your username and/or password? Click here.’, to renew your username and/or password.
If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one by clicking on ‘Sign up’.
If you already have an account, and you have been able to log in, you can start your registration by clicking on ‘Registration’.
Please go to step 6 for the next step.
Sign up
Step 2:
Click on the button ‘Sign Up’ to create your account.
Read the general information and privacy statement of the ESSO.
If you agree click on the tick box next to ‘I agree to the ESSO Privacy Policy’ and click on continue.
Step 3:
Fill in the fields
First name, Surname, E-mail, Birth date and nationality.
Click on ‘continue’.
Please fill in your title, gender, prefered username and password
Click on ‘continue’.
If your email address has already been used in the system you will normally see your name indicated on this page. You can click on the button ‘I am this person’ if this is indeed your name.
Step 4:
You will now receive an email with a link to activate your account. Please do this within 24 hours. The link will be inactive otherwise. Please make sure to check your spam box as well if you did not receive the email.
If you have received the email click on the link to activate your account.
If you have not received the activation link contact the ESSO secretariat

Step 5:
Once you have clicked on the activation link, click on ‘Registration’.

Step 6:
Check the registration contact person info. If this is correct press ‘Next’. If it is not correct click on the ‘Update my Profile’ link.
Step 7:
Select an invoice address. It can be a personal address or the address of your company or institution depending on who will pay.
If you have no invoice address yet, click on create a new invoice address and fill in all the requested details.
Please review the invoice details carefully before proceeding.
Fill in the VAT number of your company or institution if they have one and click on ‘Next’.
Step 8:
Please fill in all the details of the delegate.
Make sure to fill in the Tilte, Surname and First Name correctly as this will be displayed on the registration badge.
Once you are done, click on ‘Next’
Step 9:
Please select your fee. All fee have 21% VAT included.
Residents, Nurses and Students will have to submit a official and valid document in English that they are indeed a resident, nurse, or a student*.
Click on ‘Next’ once you have selected your fee.
If your fee does not display please write to congress@essoweb.org.
*Does not include PhD students
Step 10:
Please check all the information: contact person, participant and invoice address. If you still need to make changes click on ‘Back’. Changes that need to be done when the registration is done will be subject to an administrative fee of 20 EUR.
If everything is correct, please click on the tick box that you accept the terms & conditions.
Click on next to proceed to the next step.
Step 11
If you click the button ‘Add a participant’, you’ll be able to add another participant to your registration.
If you wish to pay your registration click on ‘Checkout’
Select your preffered payment method whcioh is either an online payment via Wordline or by Bank transfer.
Click on ‘Next’ and click once again on the tick box that you accept the terms & conditions
Wordline
You will be redirected to a payment page where you can fill in your creditcard details. Once you press ‘Yes, I confirm my payment’,you will be redirected to your bank to proceed with the payment.
If you break off the payment, you can always go back to this step by clicking on the payment link in the email you will receive.

Bank transfer
Please proceed to make the bank transfer payment to the bank account that is displayed below.
You will also receive the bank account number by email.
Your registration is only complete once we have received the payment.
Bank transfer payment will be available until 11 September 2024
